However, discussions are understood to be ongoing regarding Rohl's desire to bring his current backroom staff with him to Salzburg.
In anticipation of Rohl's exit, Heart of Midlothian's Derek McInnes is widely tipped to take the helm at Ibrox. Contracts are also reported to have been agreed for McInnes's move to Rangers, prompting senior Hearts officials to begin the process of finding his successor. The Edinburgh club is reportedly interviewing candidates this week, with a shortlist already compiled and the hope of making an appointment within the next ten days. Informal talks with potential head coach candidates, both from Britain and abroad, have already taken place as Hearts prepare for the first-team to report back for pre-season training on 25th June.
Beyond the managerial merry-go-round, the Scottish transfer market is also seeing activity. West Bromwich Albion are reportedly close to finalising a seven-figure deal for Falkirk's promising 22-year-old striker, Barney Stewart.
