Rangers Secure Narrow Conference League Win, Brighton Draw in Norway

Rangers secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Czech side Jablonec in the first leg of their Conference League playoff tie at Ibrox. Ryan Naderi's second-half strike in the 50th minute gave the Govan side the lead. However, substitute Cammy Devlin was sent off in the 78th minute for a high tackle, leaving Rangers to finish the game with 10 men.

Meanwhile, Brighton were held to a frustrating goalless draw against Tromsø in Norway. Manager Fabian Hürzeler admitted it was "not the result we hoped for." Despite creating several chances, the Seagulls could not find a way past the Tromsø goalkeeper, Jakob Haugaard.

Elsewhere, Hearts drew 2-2 with Rapid Vienna, with James Wilson scoring a stunning goal for the Scottish side. Hibernian also earned a spirited 0-0 draw away to Gent in Belgium. Motherwell faced a tougher challenge, losing 3-1 at home to Freiburg after an early lead, while Larne secured a 2-0 away win against Lincoln Red Imps.
