A farmer who witnessed a rare waterspout over the Bristol Channel on Saturday morning described the experience as 'amazing'. Chris Cottrell, of Doniford Farm Park, in Watchet, Somerset, was feeding his animals when he spotted the phenomenon on the horizon.
The narrow, spinning column of air is a tornado that forms over water during showery weather conditions. Cottrell managed to capture the waterspout on video, which he shared on Facebook over the weekend.
