Reform UK's support has either held up or fallen only slightly in most polls since Andy Burnham became Prime Minister. This comes despite the party facing deepening funding scandals and losing byelections, according to a report published today.
The party's vote share and total support actually rose in the Makerfield byelection, where Prime Minister Burnham secured a more decisive victory than anticipated. Reform's home affairs spokesman, Zia Yusuf, stated at the party conference in Birmingham on Friday that "Power is within our grasp!"
The preoccupations of Reform supporters, who constitute almost a quarter of the electorate, continue to influence political discourse. Issues such as immigration, crime, the benefits system, "wokeness," and net zero policies are frequently presented as being out of control and contributing to national decline.
