Work Package Three of the Local Full Fibre Networks (LFFN) evaluation has published its findings, examining the benefits of improved connectivity for public sector organisations. The report focuses on how better connectivity has supported service delivery, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.

The analysis includes site-level impacts for upgraded public buildings and wider benefits for local authorities and their partners. The findings are based on detailed case studies, a review of project documentation, and 46 interviews with local authorities, service providers, and other stakeholders.

The report, conducted by GC Insight, Belmana, and Darren Kilburn, recognises that outcomes depend on both improved connectivity and how organisations utilise it, alongside available resources.
