The second celebrity edition of The Traitors has launched, delivering a notable moment in its opening episode. Actor Richard E Grant, chosen as a Traitor, inadvertently disclosed his role to fellow contestants.
Grant, selected as a Traitor by host Claudia Winkleman alongside Maya Jama, made the revelation to Joe Lycett and other celebrities while sipping from a wine glass. He later attributed the error to his "unguarded excitement."
The new series features a lineup of celebrities including Jerry Hall, Miranda Hart, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsay, Myha'la, James Acaster, Romesh Ranganathan, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett, Ross Kemp, James Blunt, Amol Rajan, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Claudia Winkleman opened the show by emerging from a coffin carried by two cloaked men.
