Rightmove has integrated its artificial intelligence-powered comparison assistant, Ask Rightmove, directly into property search result pages. This marks an expansion of the portal’s AI capabilities, building on the AI-powered Search Assistant introduced in February and the Evaluation Assistant launched in July.
The Ask Rightmove tool allows users to pose questions and compare multiple properties simultaneously within search results. Users can ask about custom comparison criteria such as proximity to supermarkets, suitability for hybrid working, nearby schools, or transport links.
Data collected up to June 30 indicates that users of the Ask Rightmove search assistant spend 40% longer on the platform compared with those not using the feature. These users also save more than twice as many properties and send approximately twice as many leads to agents.
Tarah Lourens, Chief Technology and Operations Officer at Rightmove, stated that the development aims to help movers better understand property differences and identify homes that fit their needs, making the search process more informed and efficient.
