Property portal Rightmove has reported a 7% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching £225.8 million for the first half of 2026. This is an increase from £211.7 million in the same period last year, according to its latest financial results. Operating profit for the company rose by 2% to £148.2 million, with underlying operating profit up 3% to £155.1 million.

The company has deployed 46 strategic AI initiatives, an increase from 31 in December 2025. Its AI-enabled online agent valuation tool is credited with contributing to approximately a 50% total increase in unique valuation leads for estate agents. Additionally, the 'Ask Rightmove' conversational search tool has been implemented across property listings, which the company states has led to higher engagement and lead conversion rates.

Despite the revenue growth, Rightmove's share price has declined by 42% so far this year. The company is also facing ongoing legal action concerning its estate agent fees, which seeks to recoup potentially £1.5 billion on behalf of participating estate agents.
