Yemen's Houthis have launched a missile attack on Riyadh's international airport in Saudi Arabia. Dozens of people are reported to have been wounded, and a witness described panic in the terminal.
Saudi authorities have not confirmed any new attack or evacuation. However, one witness reported hearing an explosion, and another stated they saw a strike that left people wounded. A witness at the domestic terminal reported seeing gate 401 hit and injured people.
A source at a local hospital indicated that five people are in intensive care after being wounded at the airport, with dozens more injured. Relatives of one injured person said they were wounded by shattered glass and taken to hospital. Witnesses also reported people being evacuated from the airport.
This incident on Saturday marks the third reported attack on the airport this week by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group. Previous attacks this week reportedly resulted in four deaths, other injuries, and significant damage to an aircraft.
