King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was hit by two missile strikes on Saturday, leading to 14 deaths and more than 300 injuries. CCTV footage from inside the airport shows individuals taking cover as one of the missiles struck the building.
The Houthis in Yemen have claimed responsibility for the attacks. They stated they targeted the airport using a combination of ballistic and cruise missiles, along with drones. The group has also issued a warning to airlines and passengers against using Saudi Arabian airports and airspace.
Brig Gen Yahya Saree, a Houthi military spokesman, said that oil facilities and Dammam airport in eastern Saudi Arabia were also attacked. He warned that all Saudi airports, except those in Mecca and Medina, are potential targets, vowing to continue "escalating operations deep inside Saudi Arabia".
