Robbie Williams has been announced as the 'Album Icon' for National Album Day 2026. This recognition coincides with a special limited-edition 2LP red/blue vinyl reissue of his third studio album, 'Sing When You're Winning'.
The honour is part of National Album Day 2026, which celebrates the "art of the album" and artists who share their stories through this format. This year's theme is "Icons", and it marks the ninth edition of the event, presented in association with BBC Radio 2.
Williams has achieved 90 million album sales, with six of his albums among the Top 100 best-selling in UK history, and 16 Number One albums. He also holds a record-breaking 18 BRIT Awards and five Ivor Novello Awards.
The reissue of 'Sing When You're Winning', which includes hits like 'Rock DJ' and 'Kids (featuring Kylie Minogue)', will be its first release on coloured vinyl and is available for pre-order. Williams stated, "Ask any artist, albums still matter… That’s why I’m happy to be part of this year’s National Album Day celebrating the art of the album, and just how important they are… AND speaking of albums – they’re re-issuing one of mine, you might know it.. ‘Sing When You’re Winning’.”
