Rod Stewart has announced that his next tour, titled "Rod Stewart: The Final Encore," will be his last. The 81-year-old singer, who began touring in the early 1960s, will embark on a series of dates across the UK and Europe starting in April 2027.
The arena tour includes UK stops in Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, and London. Following an extensive European run, the tour is set to conclude in Hanover, Germany, in July.
Stewart stated, "The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last." He added that he has been singing the music he loves since he was 19 and has had the privilege of taking it around the world.
While the artist has not ruled out future one-off performances, the touring aspect of his career is set to conclude with this series of concerts. Stewart still has two live dates scheduled for September 2027 in Red Rocks, Colorado, which were rescheduled from June this year due to inflamed vocal cords.
