Roger Waters and his son Harry have announced details for 'Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show', a new touring production. The show aims to celebrate what is described as Pink Floyd's "golden era" between 1971 and 1979.
The production has been created under Roger Waters' direction, with Harry Waters acting as musical director. Harry will lead a 10-piece band, playing B3 organ, piano, and vocals. Roger Waters is not scheduled to perform in these shows.
The extensive tour is planned to start on February 15, 2027, in Columbus, Georgia. It is expected to visit more than 100 cities across North America and Europe. The initial North American dates have been announced, with European shows to follow later.
'Legacy' will feature songs from albums such as 'The Dark Side Of The Moon', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Animals', and 'The Wall'. The concerts are designed to run for over two hours and intend to reproduce the original recordings as closely as possible. Harry Waters stated, "We are going to authentically recreate the albums as close to note-for-note as we possibly can."
The stage production, developed by Roger Waters' team, will include imagery inspired by Pink Floyd's original visual work, displayed on high-definition LED screens. Canadian-born, Nashville-based vocalist Clifton David Broadbridge has been cast to recreate Roger Waters' original vocals after a worldwide search.
