Ross Kemp's 'Paranoid' Reaction on Celebrity Traitors Praised by Host Ed Gamble

Ross Kemp's behaviour in the first episode of 'The Celebrity Traitors' has been highlighted by spin-off host Ed Gamble as exceptionally funny.

  • Ed Gamble described Ross Kemp's paranoia in 'The Celebrity Traitors' as "one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on TV."
  • Kemp became suspicious after Bella Ramsey placed a hat on his head and Leigh-Anne Pinnock rubbed his arm.
  • Kemp's concerns reportedly stemmed from watching previous series where 'murders' occurred through physical interaction.

Ed Gamble, host of 'Celebrity Traitors' spin-off 'Uncloaked', has singled out Ross Kemp's reaction in the first episode of the BBC show as "one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on TV." Kemp, known for his 'EastEnders' role, reportedly became paranoid after fellow contestants showed him affection.

Kemp's unease began when 'The Last of Us' star Bella Ramsey placed a captain's hat on his head. Later, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock rubbed his arm. Kemp interpreted these friendly gestures as potential signs that he was being targeted by Traitors for a 'murder' in plain sight.

His concerns were reportedly influenced by previous series, including the 2025 season where Alan Carr 'murdered' Paloma Faith by touching her face. Kemp stated in a to-camera interview that his "guard is very much up," adding, "Anyone touching me, offering me a drink, talking to me in a slightly odd way, that could be me gone."

Gamble, who watched the episode with press, noted the audience's laughter at Kemp's reactions. He also expressed excitement about interviewing Kemp on 'Uncloaked', describing himself as a "huge Ross Kemp fan."

In the same episode, Claudia Winkleman selected Richard E Grant and Maya Jama as the initial Traitors, indicating Kemp's suspicions were incorrect. Grant and Jama are set to choose a third Traitor in the next episode.
