Englishman Ross Smith delivered a stunning performance to win the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam, overcoming two-time former champion Gerwyn Price with an 11-5 victory. Smith, 37, secured his second major title on the PDC World Tour, having previously won the European Championship in 2022.
The world number 14 dominated the final six legs, hitting 11 maximums compared to Price's five. Smith expressed his delight, stating, "Honestly, I am made up with the win. I am just so happy."
The tournament also saw world champion Luke Littler's quest for a clean sweep of major PDC titles in 2026 come to an end. Littler was defeated 10-4 by Jonny Clayton in the quarter-finals, missing out on adding to his World Championship, World Masters, UK Open, Premier League, World Cup of Darts, and World Matchplay titles.
