Ryan Murphy's latest series, 'The Shards', an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's 80s-set novel, is now available on Disney+.
The story opens in 1980s Los Angeles, where a serial killer, nicknamed the Trawler, is at work. The killer initially targets young women, who are found mutilated, and later moves on to young male victims.
The cast features Igby Rigney as Bret, with Kaia Gerber playing straight-A student Susan and Homer Gere as Robert, a new boy who enters their social circle. The series is noted for its 80s aesthetic and soundtrack, with music by Troye Sivan.
