US actress Sadie Sink and musician Tom Fletcher are among the notable figures nominated for the Stage Debut Awards. They will compete for honours at a ceremony scheduled for next month.
Sink, known for her role in Stranger Things, is one of 10 contenders for best West End debut performer. This nomination follows her portrayal of Juliet Capulet in Robert Icke's production of Romeo and Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
McFly star Fletcher earned a nomination for best creative West End debut for his work on Paddington The Musical, which features his music and lyrics. Other prominent nominees include Harry Potter star Ralph Fiennes for his directorial debut with As You Like It, and Oscar-nominated actor Brendan Gleeson.
The winners of the Stage Debut Awards will be announced at a ceremony held at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London on September 27.
