Visitors to Salisbury River Park can now explore a new artwork trail and a family treasure trail, featuring pieces created by local and regional artists. The Environment Agency has launched the Salisbury River Park artworks map to help visitors discover the installations located across the park.

The project was curated by public art commissioning organisation Studio Response, in partnership with Salisbury City Council. Artists featured include Zac Newham, Jane Edden, Francesca McLean, Fred Fieber, Tech Moon, and composer Karen Wimhurst.

Andy Wallis, Salisbury River Park project lead at the Environment Agency, stated that the artwork trail aims to reconnect people with the city's rivers and encourages visitors to observe the wildlife and natural heritage of the chalk streams.

For younger visitors, Zac Newham has designed a new 1-mile treasure trail. Children can follow clues to learn about the area's wildlife and heritage, with those who complete the trail by 30 August 2026 having the chance to win a piece of River Park artwork.

What this means for you: You can download the treasure trail digitally or pick up a copy from Salisbury Information Centre, and collect a prize from Five Rivers Leisure Centre if you uncover the secret word by 30 August 2026.
