The UK version of the popular sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live, is set to return for its second season on Saturday, 12 September, broadcaster Sky has announced. The show, which first launched in March, will air an initial six new episodes, with further shows planned for early 2027.
The entire 11-member inaugural cast, including Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young, will return for the new run. Each episode will continue to feature a different celebrity host and musical guest, alongside topical sketches and a British take on the Weekend Update segment.
Fans will have the opportunity to apply for tickets to be part of the live studio audience, with a ballot opening on Friday, 14 August at 10am. The series will be broadcast live each week on Sky and Now.
