A second man has been charged with murder after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Northampton. Khadeem Parris, from Motherwell, Scotland, died at the scene on the evening of 7 July.
Samwari Solomon, 20, of Coalhall Avenue, Motherwell, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 8 August, where he was charged with murder and remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear at Northampton Crown Court on Monday, 10 August.
In July, 21-year-old Fuad Mohamud Mohamud of Briar Hill in Northampton was also charged with murder and remanded. Police said Khadeem was found at an address on Adnitt Road in the Abington area of Northampton.
Three other individuals, two men aged 19 and 56, and a 51-year-old woman, have been released on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
