Rayo Vallecano forward Sergio Camello is currently the second top goalscorer in Europe's top five leagues, having netted seven goals in seven league games this season. Only Raphinha has scored more goals across the continent's top leagues.

Camello's club, Rayo Vallecano, will return to their home ground, Estadio de Vallecas, this Saturday at 2pm. The stadium's small door, located on Clown Fofó Street in Vallecas, will open for the first time this season after the Madrid council declared the venue unsafe and unfit for purpose. During the closure, Rayo's home matches were played in Leganes, outside the city, leading to fan boycotts.

The 25-year-old, who is also an Olympic gold medallist, attributes his current form to a change in mindset, focusing on playing without pressure and reconnecting with his enjoyment of the sport. He has discussed this with friends, including his twin brother Gonzalo, and in therapy.
