The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for a heatwave that is sweeping across the UK. Temperatures are expected to soar, with some areas reaching highs of 32°C, bringing a heightened risk of heat-related illnesses.
The heatwave, which is expected to last throughout the week, is particularly severe in the south of England, with temperatures in some areas expected to reach 30°C or more. In the north, temperatures will be slightly lower, but still pleasant, reaching highs of up to 25°C.
Scotland and Wales are also expected to experience hot weather, with temperatures in the high teens to low twenties. Northern Ireland will see a mix of sunny and cloudy conditions, with temperatures ranging from 18°C to 22°C.
