Shane Lowry has claimed his second Irish Open title, securing an 11-shot victory at the Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Doonbeg. This marks the 39-year-old Irishman's first individual tournament win since 2022.
Lowry finished the tournament at 23 under par, with Patrick Reed and Joaquin Niemann tied for second place at 12 under. The win is Lowry's eighth career title and seventh individual victory.
Lowry, who previously won the Irish Open as an amateur in 2009, shot a course-record 62 on Friday and built a four-shot lead going into the final round. He extended his lead on Sunday with a round of 63, which included eight birdies and one bogey.
