Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend have been crowned women's doubles champions at Flushing Meadows, securing a comeback victory against Robin Montgomery and Ashlyn Krueger with a final score of 5-7, 6-0, 6-2 on Arthur Ashe.

This triumph marks a significant milestone for the No. 1 seeds, as they have now completed a career Grand Slam. Their impressive run includes winning Wimbledon in 2024, the Australian Open in 2025, and the French Open earlier this year.

In the men's singles, Alexander Zverev is preparing to face Karen Khachanov in the semi-finals. Zverev, the No. 1 seed, is aiming to reach his third consecutive Grand Slam final, having won at Roland Garros and finished runner-up at Wimbledon. Khachanov, unseeded, returns to this stage for the first time since the 2022 semis and could reach his first Grand Slam final.

Zverev's path to the semi-finals included two five-set matches at the start of the tournament, but he has not dropped a set since. Khachanov, who was ranked No. 50 earlier this year, has found strong consistency in the last fortnight.
