Sir Kevin Sinfield visited his former Leeds Rhinos home today, 30 September 2026, as part of his latest endurance challenge to raise money for motor neurone disease (MND) causes. The club legend is aiming to complete seven ultramarathons in seven days, inspired by his friend and teammate Rob Burrow, who died in 2024.
Sinfield began the fourth stage at the DIY Kitchens Stadium in Wakefield on Wednesday morning, visiting Headingley in Leeds, Odsal Stadium in Bradford, and finishing at the Accu Stadium in Huddersfield at approximately 16:00.
The fundraiser and his team have raised more than £11m for the MND community since his first annual challenge in 2020. Sinfield is running between Hull and Manchester as part of his 7 in 7: The Grand Finale challenge, and will visit all 12 Super League clubs before arriving at the Grand Final on Saturday.
Members of the MND community, including Eric Frank, who was diagnosed more than a decade ago, joined Sinfield on Wednesday. Pundit and former footballer Micah Richards also cycled part of the route.
