A six-year-old girl from Chengdu, China, has broken the women's world record for solving a Rubik's Cube. Lian Yunzhi, known as Zhizhi, achieved an average time of 4.27 seconds at a speedcubing event in Guangzhou on September 16, hosted by the World Cube Association.

This new record surpasses her previous best of 4.52 seconds, which she had set earlier in the month. Zhizhi's mother, Lin Yangxi, described the achievement as a "dream come true" for her daughter, who trains for up to three hours daily for competitions.

Zhizhi's journey into speedcubing began at age four, with her mother enrolling her in classes. Her training regimen now involves two to three hours on weekdays and up to six hours on weekends, balancing it with her kindergarten studies.
