The Marvel film 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has reportedly leaked on X, becoming the latest blockbuster to appear on the social media platform. The leak reportedly reached 5.9 million accounts, accumulating over 143,000 likes and 10,000 reshares before it was removed more than nine hours later, according to Variety.
This incident follows the recent leak of Christopher Nolan’s 'The Odyssey', which also stars Tom Holland, on X. Universal, the studio behind 'The Odyssey', stated they initiated takedown protocols immediately upon becoming aware of the unauthorised posting and would pursue remedies for copyright infringement.
Studio Sony has not yet commented on the 'Brand New Day' leak. The film, which sees Tom Holland return as Spider-Man, has already achieved significant box office success, taking in $927 million (£688 million) worldwide in its debut weekend.
