Strictly Come Dancing 2026 confirms eight celebrity contestants

The 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed eight celebrity contestants, with announcements for the BBC show continuing. EastEnders star Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, was the first contestant revealed. She expressed excitement about joining the show, stating she is a "huge fan" and looks forward to learning a new skill.

Dani Dyer, a former Love Island contestant, is being given a second chance after withdrawing from last year's series due to injury. Australian singer and former Neighbours actor Delta Goodrem, hair stylist Chris Appleton, and reality star Cach Mercer are also confirmed to compete. TV presenter Will Best, Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, and actor Jaime Winstone complete the current confirmed line-up.

This year's Strictly Come Dancing will see significant changes, including three new hosts: Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe, who are replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The show is also adding five new professional dancers to its roster.
