The BBC has confirmed the first six stars who will be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing 2026. The lineup includes EastEnders star Lacey Turner, who has played Stacey Slater on the soap since 2004, and former Love Island contestant Dani Dyer, who was set to take part in last year's show but had to withdraw after injuring herself.
Joining Turner and Dyer are Australian singer Delta Goodrem, who has performed on many different stages throughout her career, including TV, theatre, film sets, and touring her own shows around the world.
Also confirmed are model Cach Mercer, who rose to fame on the ITV show Love Island, and hair stylist Chris Appleton, who has worked with big stars such as Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian.
Strictly Come Dancing will be returning to our screens later this year, with new presenters Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe at the helm.
Viewers will be able to watch the show on the BBC, with episodes likely to be available on the iPlayer service.
The lineup is expected to be completed in the coming weeks, with more celebrity contestants being confirmed for the 2026 season.
