Sunrisers Leeds overcame a late surge from Southern Brave, inspired by bowler Issy Wong, to win the women's Hundred Eliminator by five wickets. Chasing a target of 115 at The Kia Oval, Sunrisers Leeds reached 116-5 with 11 balls remaining.
Lauren Winfield-Hill top-scored for Sunrisers with 37 runs, anchoring the innings after early wickets. However, Wong's spell of 3-21, which included bowling Winfield-Hill and trapping captain Dani Gibson lbw in consecutive balls, briefly reignited Southern Brave's hopes.
Deepti Sharma, with an unbeaten 28, and Jess Jonassen, who hit the winning boundary, calmly saw Sunrisers Leeds to victory. Southern Brave's innings saw them score 114-7, with Lizelle Lee making 32 off 25 balls, but the team played out 41 dot balls.
Sunrisers Leeds will now advance to The Hundred final, where they are set to play Trent Rockets at Lord's on Sunday.
