Phoebe Litchfield was the star for Sunrisers, hitting an unbeaten 71 runs from just 33 balls. Her innings included 13 fours and one six, and she reached her fastest ever half-century in the competition in 20 deliveries. Sunrisers chased down their target of 108 with 31 balls to spare.
Birmingham Phoenix, who were put into bat, managed 107-9 from their 100 balls. Emma Lamb was their top scorer with 47, while Ellyse Perry contributed 31. Deepti Sharma (3-11) and Kate Cross (2-14) were impressive with the ball for Sunrisers. Sunrisers Leeds now sit in fourth place, two points behind Manchester Super Giants for the final knock-out spot, with all teams having played six matches.
