Manchester Super Giants delivered a commanding 10-wicket victory over Sunrisers Leeds, significantly enhancing their prospects for The Hundred knockout stages. The win, achieved with 33 balls to spare, also prevented Sunrisers from securing an automatic place in the final.

Chasing a target of 128, the Super Giants romped to victory, spearheaded by Tim Seifert's explosive unbeaten 80 runs from just 40 balls. Paul Walter also contributed with an unbeaten 44 off 28 balls, dismantling the Sunrisers' bowling attack under the floodlights at Old Trafford.

Earlier, a disciplined bowling and fielding performance from Super Giants restricted Sunrisers Leeds to 127, their lowest total in this year's competition. Gus Atkinson was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-30, despite an initial strong start from Sunrisers openers Mitch Marsh and Ryan Rickelton.

The result confirms Trent Rockets' direct qualification to Sunday's final at Lord's, having topped the standings with 24 points. Super Giants, now in second place with a net run-rate of 0.791, look set to join the Eliminator, which will be played on Friday at The Oval between the second and third-placed teams.
