Surrey have drawn level on points with Group A leaders Leicestershire after a 95-run win against Kent in the One-Day Cup at The Kia Oval. Both teams were vying for a share of the top spot.

The match, reduced to 49 overs per side due to rain, saw Surrey openers Ryan Patel and Dom Sibley build a century stand. Patel scored 73 and Sibley 53, contributing to Surrey's total of 286 all out. Matt Milnes took 3-32 for Kent.

In reply, Kent struggled, losing five wickets for 58 runs. Despite an 86-run partnership between Jaydn Denly (51) and Ekansh Singh (46), Kent were bowled out for 191. Tommy Ealham claimed 3-37 and Tom Lawes took 4-40 for Surrey.

Why this matters: The victory means Surrey are now trailing Leicestershire only on net run rate, with the top team securing a home semi-final.
