Taylor Swift's song 'August' has been removed from a Donald Trump TikTok post. The post, uploaded earlier this week on August 3, showed the US President watching fireworks with his wife Melania, accompanied by Swift's 2020 song.
The original caption for the video from the 'Team Trump' social media account stated: “I’m sure Taylor Swift is going to be super excited we used her song!” However, the song has since been removed, with the display now reading, “This sound isn’t available”.
Reports indicate that another Team Trump video featuring Swift's 'Father Figure' has also had its audio made unavailable. Fans have also observed that a third post using 'Opalite' has similarly been removed.
Swift has not yet commented publicly on these removals. This follows previous instances where other artists, including Ariana Grande, Kesha, and Olivia Rodrigo, have objected to their music being used by the Trump administration on social media.
