A teenage boy and a man are in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed by two masked men who entered a house in Leicestershire. Police were called to a disturbance at a house in Station Road, Thurnby, shortly before 00:30 BST on Thursday.
The 15-year-old boy and the man, in his 50s, both sustained multiple stab wounds. A woman in her 40s was also assaulted during the incident, receiving a minor injury to her hand and shoulder, and has since been discharged from hospital.
Firearms officers attended the scene, but the offenders had already left. A forensic examination is being carried out at the house. Detectives are appealing for information, including dashcam footage, from anyone who was in the area of Station Road and Somerby Road between 23:00 BST on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday morning.
