Tens of thousands of people have gathered in Glasgow for the Great Scottish Run weekend. Organisers anticipate around 35,000 adults and children will participate in the events, which commenced on Saturday.
Sunday's schedule features a 10k and a half marathon. Scotland's 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Eilish McColgan and charity fundraiser Craig Ferguson are the official starters for these runs.
Saturday saw the return of events for junior runners and toddlers, which were cancelled last year due to concerns over Storm Amy. Athena and Hammer from the Gladiators TV show started over 2,000 young runners in the AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Scottish Run on Glasgow Green.
The 10k race begins at 08:26, followed by the half marathon, with the first wave of elite runners setting off at 10:10. Both races start on St Vincent Street and conclude on Glasgow Green.
A number of road closures and parking restrictions are in place in Glasgow for the event, affecting the route and surrounding areas. St Vincent Street, Paisley Road West, and part of Argyle Street are closed until at least mid-afternoon.
