Ellis Grover, a tightrope walker from Carmarthen, has expressed his excitement and honour to be performing with Take That at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The performance is part of the band's rebooted Circus Live tour, which features a range of circus performers, including acrobats and a mechanical elephant.
As part of the show, Grover will walk on a tightrope between two stages, with a six-metre drop below him. He has described the experience as 'all about trust', citing his ability to maintain his balance and focus as key to success.
Take That's Circus Live tour is a continuation of their 2009 tour, which saw the band perform at the Millennium Stadium in Wales. The band, made up of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald, have spoken about their love for the tour and their desire to do it again. The rebooted tour is part of their preparations for the release of their 10th studio album later this year.
Grover has also spoken about his own experience on the tour, describing himself as 'quite tired' after a month on the road. However, he has emphasized the importance of maintaining his physical health through regular warm-ups and stretching exercises.
The tour has already visited several cities, including Southampton, Sunderland, Coventry, and Glasgow, and will continue on to other locations in the UK.
