Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of winger Savinho, in a deal worth £85m. This move is set to propel Spurs' summer spending beyond the £300m mark.
The fee for the Brazilian talent includes a basic sum of £75m, with an additional £10m in add-ons, of which £5m is guaranteed. This ensures Manchester City will receive at least £80m from the sale, making Savinho their club record sale.
Savinho is poised to become one of the three most expensive players in Tottenham's history, joining Mateus Fernandes (£85m from West Ham) and Sandro Tonali (£100m from Newcastle) as major summer acquisitions under Roberto De Zerbi. Spurs are also reportedly in talks for Omar Marmoush, a potential double deal that could see their total expenditure approach £400m.
Savinho, who arrived at City from Troyes for £30.8m in 2024, helped Girona qualify for the Champions League during a loan spell. He scored seven goals in 84 games for City, with two in the Premier League, before losing his place to Antoine Semenyo.
