The Tour de France Femmes 2026 is underway, with riders tackling a challenging 138km opening stage in and out of Lausanne. This initial stage includes four categorised climbs, offering opportunities for breakaway riders while also being a target for sprinters' teams.

Since its relaunch and rebranding in 2022, the Tour de France Femmes has seen four distinct champions: Anniemiek van Vleuten, Demi Vollering, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, and most recently, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. Demi Vollering, who secured a Giro win earlier this season, is currently the favourite to win the nine-stage race.

The 2026 race features one individual time trial, two mountain stages, three flat stages, and three hilly stages. The overall winner will be determined in Nice next Sunday.
