The Turner Prize 2026 exhibition will be held at the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (MIMA) starting 26 September. This event brings the contemporary art prize to the North East, allowing visitors to view works by the four shortlisted artists: Simeon Barclay, Kira Freije, Marguerite Humeau, and Tanoa Sasraku.
The exhibition, organised by Tate, explores themes such as identity, history, industry, and the environment. Artworks on display include sculpture, film, sound, and installation. The exhibition is scheduled to run until 29 March 2027.
