Two bodies have been found in a shallow grave in a remote area of Lancaster, California, according to reports. Law enforcement officials are now searching for additional victims following the discovery on Tuesday.
Authorities located the bodies while investigating a missing persons case, KTLA reports. The sheriff’s department is treating the discovery as a homicide.
On Wednesday, a KTLA helicopter observed authorities and medical examiner staff digging in new areas near the initial discovery site.
