Lachie Cowan received medical treatment and underwent observation, being discharged a short time later. The club's statement did not provide further details regarding his circumstances.
Will Hayward was also admitted to hospital on Sunday morning. He experienced a minor cut to the head after a fall, received stitches, and has since been discharged. Carlton stated it has been in regular contact with both players, prioritising their wellbeing.
