A 45-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been found dead in a home in Charleville, an outback town in Queensland, Australia. Their deaths followed a police siege that lasted nearly eight hours.
Police were initially called to the property around 6pm on Wednesday to investigate reports of a serious assault. Several streets in Charleville, located 600km west of Toowoomba, were placed under lockdown during the incident.
