U2 have announced their new album, 'Carnaval De Luz', which is set to be released on November 13. This marks the band's 16th full-length project and their first album of new material in nine years.
The 12-song collection, produced by Jacknife Lee, explores themes of spirituality, friendship, freedom, and endurance. It includes 'Torn', a duet featuring Bono and the late Dolly Parton, which is her final recorded vocal performance. Other collaborators on the album include Brian Eno, Martin Garrix, and Daniel Lanois.
The band also released 'Silencio' today, September 24, as the lead single from the album. The Edge described the record as "a messy, provocative, sacred collection of songs."
