Pramod Poudel, 34, from Uckfield, East Sussex, has shared his grief after losing his wife Sumitra, mother Tulisa, brother Pardip, and uncle Madhav in floods in Nepal. He travelled to the country after losing contact with them following the disaster, which hit the Nepal-Tibet border on 26 August.
Mr Poudel stated that he does not believe his family will be found, despite his heart still hoping. He described the devastation in his community as "unimaginable," with houses destroyed and hundreds of people gone.
Official data indicates that around 1,400 people died and more than 6,000 are still missing. Scientists have stated the floods were caused by a collapse of rock wall and glacier ice near the peak of Langtang Lirung, a mountain on Nepal's side of the Himalayas.
Mr Poudel, who moved to the UK in 2009, expressed a desire to help rebuild his community following the destruction.
