UFC chief Dana White has spoken out about his close friendship with former US President Donald Trump, claiming their conversations rarely touch on politics.
In an interview, White described his relationship with Trump as 'really close' but said they generally steer clear of discussing politics.
White, who has been the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 2001, said his friendship with Trump is not unusual and is simply a result of their shared interests.
'We talk about sports, we talk about business, we talk about all sorts of things,' White said. 'But we don't talk about politics very much.'
White's comments come as the UK and US continue to navigate complex relationships, including diplomatic tensions and trade agreements.
The UFC has a significant following in the UK and the US, and White's friendship with Trump may raise eyebrows among some fans.
