A north London estate agency has unveiled an unusual new Halloween display, featuring a UFO that appears to have crash-landed in its window. Location Location Estate Agents on Stoke Newington Church Street is now home to a large flying saucer, an eerie glow, and two small green aliens named Gina and Clive.
The installation, which has quickly drawn attention from passers-by, was created by Location Location managing director Vicky Bibiris and her brother Panni Bibiris. The pair spent several weeks building the display, with Panni Bibiris requiring surgery after accidentally chopping off a finger during the construction of the EVA foam UFO.
Location Location has been at its Church Street premises for 20 years and has been creating Halloween displays for over a decade. Previous displays have included dragons and werewolves, with this year marking their first extraterrestrial theme. Panni Bibiris stated, "We do this for our community. It's a lot of hard work, but seeing people stop, smile and take photos, and hearing what our neighbours have to say about it, makes every minute worthwhile."
The window display will also be part of the 'Trick or Eat' initiative on Halloween, where businesses in north and east London welcome trick-or-treaters who donate food to Hackney Foodbank.
