The Met Office has issued a warning for unsettled weather across the UK to start September, with heavy rain, strong winds, and cool temperatures expected. The national weather service advises that the country will experience a 'rollercoaster' of weather conditions, with rain and strong winds affecting various parts of the country.
In England, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain, covering large swathes of the country, including the North West, North East, and Yorkshire. Rainfall of up to 30mm is expected in some areas, with the worst of the weather expected to hit on Tuesday and Wednesday.
