The Met Office has issued a 10-day weather trend, predicting that high pressure will continue to dominate the UK's weather pattern for the next few days. This means that temperatures will remain above average, ranging from 18°C to 22°C (64°F to 72°F) across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
However, the Met Office warns that the high-pressure system may start to ease by mid-week, leading to more unsettled conditions. The organisation has issued yellow weather warnings for strong winds and heavy rain in some areas, particularly in the north of England and Scotland.
According to the Met Office's forecast, the strongest winds are expected to hit the north of England on Tuesday, with gusts reaching up to 60mph (97km/h). Heavy rain is also forecast for the north of Scotland, with up to 30mm (1.2in) expected in some areas.
Meanwhile, southern England and Wales are expected to remain dry and sunny, with temperatures reaching up to 25°C (77°F) on Wednesday.
The Met Office advises people to check the latest forecast and warnings before making any outdoor plans, particularly if they are planning to travel or engage in outdoor activities.
Residents in affected areas are also advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe, such as securing outdoor furniture and other objects that could be blown away by strong winds.
