Ulster have launched their European Challenge Cup campaign with a dominant 40-21 bonus-point victory over Zebre in Parma. The Irish province ran in six tries during the match, with recent academy graduate Henry Walker shining on his first competitive start by scoring two.
Last season's beaten finalists established a 19-0 lead in the first half, with Jacob Stockdale also crossing the whitewash alongside Walker's double. Although Zebre fought back in the second half, Ulster finished strongly to maintain their bonus point advantage.
David McCann marked his captaincy debut with a try, while Mike Lowry and Martin Moloney also contributed to Ulster's try tally. The win sees Ulster secure maximum points from their trip to the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
